Riverside location was a plus. Stayed in good sized and stylish room in a terrace of converted outbuildings.

the overall decor and comfort. good restaurant. Quiet and beautiful surroundings .
For the same price and in the same reservation the rooms were very different. one with full bath and king size bed and the other with half the size, shower and regular bed. I think that for the same price and reservation the rooms shoul be, if not equal, at least equivalent. When I asked the staff the reason for such disparity she did not know! Not the standard you'd expect from a 5 star hotel!

Full of character in a delightful setting reasonably close to Salamanca, and not far from the main autoroute. We stayed to break our journey from South to North of Spain. It is our second visit.
There didn't seem to be a maitre'd for the restaurant. The restaurant was empty when we arrived for dinner and we had to find someone to say we had a reservation and to take us to a table. Then there was no wine list, we just had to ask for the house wine and did not know prices of wines. As this is an excellent winery and also an expensiver restaurant we felt there should have been more detail to wine information and service in the main restaurant. Also a maitre'd. There is an adjacent more casual restauarnt and they all seemed busy serving in there and we were left for some time on our own without a menu or wine. The meal and wine when we did get it, were very good.

Very charming and comfortable place. Delicious wine and food including breakfast. Staff very kind.
The rooms are very bad isolated. We have asked for a cot and when we arrived to the room the cot was not there. After 5 minutes they bring us a cot that was broked. For a 5 stars hotel this is not acceptable. Regarding room cleaning, it could be better.

The beautiful historic buildings exuded charm, while the easy pathways made it easy for anyone, especially my friends who are older, to explore the lovely grounds without hassle.
Better lighting in pathways would enhance safety.

It's a beautiful old building, but well maintained. The location along the river is very nice. It's still close to the beautiful city of Salamanca. The Spa is very nice and intimit. Hotel staff is good and flexible. We had a very nice room. It has been one of my most pleasant Hotel experiences in Spain.

We stayed in a one-bedroom villa and it was lovely! The bed was huge and super comfy, made for great sleep. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Plus, the private terrace was a nice touch-I loved sipping coffee there in the morning. It had this rustic charm that fit the history of the place. Just had a little noise from the outside, but nothing too bothersome.

The location is superb, secluded and potentially vey quiet. The junior suite I was assigned was wonderful, with a great bed and a great view.
Unbeknown to normal guests, the hotel is used for weddings. On a Saturday night we had trouble parking, moving around and having something for dinner. Loud music went on until 3:30 in the morning and so did the sound from doors slammed by hotel guests attending the wedding. QueThe structure is wonderful but not properly kept. I noticed an old fridge and other floating debris stuck where a small channel runs underneath the hotel, 10 meters from the concierge, and other debris in the park. In the bathroom (of a junior suite) I noticed humidity and overall its facilities were not up to the level expected for a 5-star hotel. The hotel is advretised as having a jacuzzi, but in fact this can be used only in conjunction with expensive treatments.

Real Hacienda living with the grapes next to you. Very nice quiet atmosphere. The food is local so is the wine and the cheese and the excellent olive oel. A very nice stay
The shower curtain has to be changed and the service in the Restaurant could be better

Enchanting, enchanting, enchanting.
I was captivated by the historical charm of the old monastery turned hotel, where each room tells a story! The free wine tasting was a good surprise, allowing me to sip and savor local wines without any pressure. And don't even get me started on the breakfast- an amazing spread of local meats and cheeses with views of the beautiful river.
would recommend 🥰🍷
